The Faber TP-59NA Vintage Spec ALU Stop Tailpiece was developed according to the specifications of classic stop tailpieces from the 1950s and offers an excellent way to enhance the sound and resonance of your guitar.

Made from lightweight aluminum, as used in the original Gibson® Les Paul models of the late 1950s, this tailpiece provides a significantly more open and resonant sound development than conventional zinc tailpieces. Aluminum tailpieces weigh only about a quarter of comparable zinc versions and transfer string vibrations particularly efficiently to the body.

The result is a lively, dynamic sound with improved sustain, more mids, a richer overtone spectrum, and an overall more acoustic playing feel. The guitar sounds more open and resonant even unplugged, while amplified it produces a warmer and rounder tone.

Replacing the existing tailpiece studs is not necessary – the current studs can continue to be used.

The aged nickel finish gives the tailpiece an authentic vintage look and perfectly matches aged or historically inspired instruments.
