How it all began – from passion to idea

I'm Patrick, founder of Pat’s Guitars.
Not too long ago, I started listening to guitar-heavy music – bands like Slipknot, Metallica, Rammstein, and Mötley Crüe immediately grabbed me. It was only then that I realized how fascinating electric guitars really are.

A friend bought a simple beginner guitar back then. Since playing wasn’t his thing, he offered it to me. I thought, Why not? Just give it a try.
That’s how my first electric guitar came to me – and a new hobby was born.

After a short time, I noticed the instrument wasn’t very high quality. So I started looking around. Through classifieds, I found used guitars, bought them, tried them out, and sold them again.

After a few weeks, several instruments were at my home – and suddenly it was clear: This is more than just a hobby.
From this passion came the idea for Pat’s Guitars – a place where musicians, collectors, and enthusiasts can find high-quality second-hand guitars. Even though expanding the business is the focus today, the passion for guitars, playability, and sound remains as strong as on day one.

Our mission at Pat’s Guitars

When I realized that trading used electric guitars was profitable, I began to focus intensively on repair, refurbishment, and maintenance. Today, Pat’s Guitars stands for quality, passion, and fair prices.

Pat’s Guitars was founded in the fourth quarter of 2023 in Stolberg near Aachen.
What started as a one-man project has now grown into a team with expertise in purchasing, technical refurbishment, photography, logistics, and customer service.

We source our guitars from many places – from Germany, Europe, and also through imports like Fender Japan, Tokai, Greco, or Orville. Each guitar is carefully inspected and professionally refurbished:

  • thorough cleaning
  • technical inspection
  • setup and new strings
  • transparent description of all details

This way, we ensure that you always receive a used electric guitar in perfect condition from us.

Passion, Transparency, and Fairness

At Pat’s Guitars, the customer is our top priority. We respond to every inquiry quickly and reliably, going the extra mile for each customer.

Our listings are completely transparent – we openly disclose signs of use, repairs, and modifications so you know exactly what you’re buying.

Fair prices are just as important to us:
We always strive to stay below the common market price to offer you the best possible value.

Whether it’s a Fender Stratocaster, Gibson Les Paul, Tokai Love Rock, or a rare Vintage Japan guitar – every guitar tells its own story.
We want those stories to continue and new music to be made.
