The Faber TL-MGA Tone-Lock Kit was developed to significantly improve sustain, resonance, and vibration transfer for guitars with classic stop tailpieces. Only the original tailpiece screw bolts are replaced with the patented Faber Tone-Lock system – the guitar’s classic appearance remains fully preserved.

The firm connection of the tailpiece to the guitar body optimizes vibration transfer. The result is a more direct response, more sustain, and an overall more open, resonant sound.

Additionally, the Tone-Lock system makes string changes easier, as the tailpiece remains securely fixed to the bolts. The included spacers allow individual height adjustment of the tailpiece.

The aged gold surface provides an authentic vintage look and perfectly matches instruments with aged gold hardware.
