Faber BSWKIT-NG Bridge Stud/Adapter, Nickel Gloss (one pair)

The Faber BSWKIT-NG Bridge Stud/Adapter Kit was developed to convert guitars with Nashville bridges to the classic vintage ABR-1 system while significantly improving tone, sustain, and vibration transfer.

The kit uses high-quality bridge studs made of German steel with an 8 mm threaded base and 4 mm bridge post. This creates a much more stable connection to the body than the standard zinc components of many guitars. The result is more sustain, a more direct response, and improved resonance.

In combination with a Faber ABR-'59 bridge (sold separately), this creates one of the most popular upgrades for Gibson® and Epiphone® style guitars.

For guitars with existing 8 mm threaded bushings (e.g., many Epiphone® models), the adapters can be screwed in directly – no drilling or threading required.

The glossy nickel surface provides a classic look and perfectly matches instruments with nickel hardware.

For even easier installation, Faber recommends using the Faber iNsert systems, which are also made from high-quality German steel and replace the standard Nashville bushings.
