The Faber ABRN-NGN Bridge was developed as a high-quality ABR-1 replacement for Gibson® guitars with Nashville bridges as well as Heritage® guitars with Schaller bridges. It can be installed as a direct replacement without modifications on compatible models and offers a particularly authentic vintage construction.

The classic ABR design completely omits the problematic retainer wire. Instead, precisely manufactured flat saddles ensure a play-free fit and optimal mechanical contact within the bridge frame. The result is improved vibration transfer, more sustain, and a direct response.

This version is equipped with high-quality nylon saddles. Nylon produces a particularly warm, soft, and balanced tonal character and is excellent for blues, jazz, and vintage-oriented sounds. At the same time, harsh highs are pleasantly softened.

The removable nylon saddles are Un-notched Delivered and can be individually filed to the desired string guide. Worn saddles can be replaced individually at any time or flipped for a wider intonation range.

The glossy nickel finish provides a classic look and perfectly matches instruments with nickel hardware.

Note:

From the 2012 model year, Gibson® uses larger bridge posts (5 mm upper thread diameter) on many Nashville bridges. On these models, the ABRN Bridge does not fit as a direct replacement on the standard studs. In this case, suitable Faber replacement bridge posts are required.
